THREADED TRIBES

Accra, Ghana

Threaded Tribes is a Ghanaian-owned fashion label creating sustainable luxury for the culturally connected. Rooted in Accra and reaching across the continent, their work reflects a clear philosophy: style should uplift the people who make it, and the communities it comes from.

Their collections blend centuries-old textile traditions with fresh silhouettes. Each garment is made in Ghana using materials sourced from across Africa, including Bògòlanfini from Mali and Burkina Faso. Indigo, Baulé & Korhogo from Côte d’Ivoire. Fugu & Kente from Ghana. Leather & Wooden Buttons from Ghana. The result: timeless pieces that carry the story of a continent stitched into their seams.

But beyond the aesthetics lies something more profound—a model for community-first fashion. Threaded Tribes centres local artisans, champions intra-African trade, and reimagines what it means to "scale" in the Global South. They're not just producing clothing - they're building stakeholder economies, where prosperity is shared, not extracted.

Why we're featuring them:

While not yet onboarded to the OneThread platform, Threaded Tribes reflects the kind of brand we're excited to grow with - thoughtful, rooted, and future-forward.
