MARRAKSH LIFE
Marrakech, Morocco
Marrakshi Life is a Moroccan-based brand crafting slow fashion with a sense of place. Their pieces are hand-woven to order in their atelier in Marrakech—a deliberate shift away from fast fashion.
With just 40 weavers, the label prioritises craft, time, and ethical pace over mass output. Every garment is made with care and intention, centring the artisans who bring the pieces to life.
It's not just about what they make - it's how they make it. In a world rushing to scale, Marraksh Life chooses sustainability through slowness: honouring labour, reducing waste, and embedding dignity in the production process.
For OneThread, this reflects our Labour + Production Ethics Pillar: sustainability doesn't just mean recycled fabrics or green packaging - it's also about how people work, how they're treated, and what systems support them. Ethical labour is a form of environmental care, too.
Why we're featuring them:
While not yet onboarded to OneThread, Marraksh Life reflects the kind of intentionality we believe in - where labour practices are considered as part of the design.
